1. Data controller

The data controller is Akhene Studio, reachable at hello@locode.cc.

2. Data collected

• Email address: for account creation, code delivery and service-related communications.
• Destination URLs of the codes you create.
• Payment data: processed directly by Stripe; we store no card details.
• Aggregated usage statistics: number of clicks per code, with no individual tracking or third-party cookies.

3. Purposes and legal basis

Data is processed for the performance of the contract (providing the service), compliance with legal obligations (invoicing), and, where applicable, your consent for communications.

4. Retention period

Account data is kept as long as the account is active. Billing data is kept for 10 years in accordance with accounting obligations.

5. Processors

We rely on: Stripe (payment), Resend (email delivery), Hetzner (hosting).

6. Your rights

You have the right to access, rectify, erase, port and object to your data. To exercise them, email hello@locode.cc. You may also lodge a complaint with your data protection authority.

7. Cookies

The site uses a technical cookie locode_lang storing your language preference, and a session cookie required for authentication. No advertising or third-party tracking cookies are used.
