What is a LoCode code?
A short code in the format LLL-DDD-LLL (e.g. ABC-345-DEF) that redirects to the URL of your choice. It's designed to be read, dictated and copied without error, especially on paper.
Why not a QR code?
A QR code needs a device to be scanned and doesn't work out loud. A LoCode can be dictated on the radio, read in a book, and stays legible even when printed small.
Do my codes really last 10 years?
Yes. Paid codes are guaranteed for at least 10 years and are never reassigned to someone else. You can change the destination URL at any time.
What are test codes?
Free codes in the format TST-DDD-LLL to try the service. They expire after 30 days. For permanent use, create a paid code (€2.49).
How do you avoid character confusion?
The alphabet excludes ambiguous characters: no 0, 1, I, O, L or S. Allowed letters: A B C D E F G H J K M N P Q R T U V W X Y Z. Digits: 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9.
Can I buy several codes at once?
Packs (10, 25, 50, 100 codes) with volume pricing are coming soon. In the meantime, you can buy codes one at a time.
